Re: Lanzini signs new deal
If Pellegrini can sure up the central midfield area - we are a good looking side.

Rice and Noble together - isnt going to last long - enjoy it while we can.

Can Wilshere be the answer, as the third or as a rotation player for Noble with a different third (Sanchez has been getting solid minutes).

Agree about comments concerning Ryan Fred - but it looks better than Zabaleta. A new RB would be a good upgrade for the future.
I always thought that we were set at LB with Masuaka - for the for attacking cross from the by-line wing-back
and Cresswell , a more solid defensive player, with a great cross and corner delivery. Slower and stronger in the tackle than Masuaka. What is not right with Cresswell currently ?

Anyway - onwards and upwards. The Pellegrini Era is well underway now.

Seen comments from Noble and couple others, I think, on how he is the best player at the club, recently.

Money is money but I am glad he is here now. Things change, he could leave but its probably not happening this season, just enjoy it.

Re: Lanzini signs new deal
He’s clearly got the ability but he still doesn’t do enough on a consistent basis for a creative attacking midfielder.

Hopefully he’ll kick on now that he’s got his bumper pay rise and not just hit the chill out zone like many others seem to.

"Never played for a big club"?

Fluminense and River Plate are not big clubs then?

Good player but injury prone.

We are about his level, in reality.,

Re: Lanzini signs new deal
Nonsense. If he didn't get injured he would be gone by now.

Getting all upset?

Re: Lanzini signs new deal
Ah, look at Coffee getting himself all upset with my opinion, which of course is right.

1 cap for Argentina, never played for a big club, and we picked him up from the desert. Take your blinkers off you wishy washy cunt.

But as I said good enough for us.

That's him injured today then.

Re: Lanzini signs new deal
This is very good news. He’s been a tremendous player for us since he signed and it’s great to see him coming back after a terrible injury. Payet and O’Brien aside, he’s been our most skilful player of the last 20 years. Probably.

Messi rates him, but what the fuck does that little poster boy know about football?

Very happy with this being sorted. Hopefully he’ll get back to the level that got him in the Argies’ first 11. I had my doubts he could do that, when he first came back late last season, but he’s looked a lot better recently.

Re: Lanzini signs new deal
Fair enough, but I still rate him as a top player. And I think most West Ham fans would too.

In the Argentina team for the World Cup. No, definitely not a top player.

Manuel - you say that with an air of certainty, are you Nostradamus?

Manuel 9:40 Sat Aug 31
Re: Lanzini signs new deal
Has never been a real top player and never will be now. Good enough for us though, when he turns up that is.

He'll kick on to another higher level now

injury over

new contract

better players around him

Argentine national team squad

If Eriksen had left Spuds their fellow Argentine coach would have been in Lanzini's agent's ear, so count our blessings that

1 - he's still a Hammer

2 - if he does end going it won't be on the cheap

Re: Lanzini signs new deal
He is a good player, but has to many weak sides to be a top player.
That's why he still is a west Ham player.
